Partner disclosure: Arrel partners with Prospeo and may benefit commercially from referrals. That does not change either vendor's prices or the analysis below. We use current public documentation and identify the cases where RocketReach is the better fit.
Our short answer: RocketReach is better suited to sellers who want a broad contact-search workspace, built-in prospecting and an annual plan with effectively high lookup capacity. Prospeo is a more focused data layer for teams that already have orchestration and sending tools. Its credit rules are easier to model around successful email, mobile, company and API results. RocketReach's annual “unlimited” label needs context: a 10,000-lookups-per-month fair-use limit applies, and moving records outside the platform uses a separate export allowance.
| Decision | Prospeo | RocketReach |
|---|---|---|
| Public price | Official help publishes plan allocations; current dollars appear in the live pricing flow | Monthly from $39; annual from $229 |
| Email result | 1 credit for a verified email; no result is free | Included lookup on Essentials, Pro and Ultimate |
| Phone result | 10 credits with email included | Available on Pro and Ultimate |
| Export model | CSV and integrations according to plan | Separate export limits, including API and CRM movement |
| Best fit | Enrichment and data workflows | Interactive prospecting and broad contact research |
Prices are public USD list prices checked 5 September 2026. Taxes, negotiated contracts and legacy subscriptions can differ. RocketReach's annual monthly equivalents are rounded figures displayed by the vendor and require annual payment.
RocketReach now prices monthly and annual plans differently
RocketReach's monthly Essentials plan is $39 for 100 email lookups. Pro costs $79 for 250 email-and-phone lookups, while Ultimate costs $169 for 1,000. Unused lookups on those eligible monthly plans can roll forward for up to 12 months while the subscription stays current.
The annual plans use a different model. Essentials is $229 per year, displayed as roughly $20 per month, and includes email lookups plus 1,200 exports for the year. Pro is $619 per year, displayed as $52 per month, with email and phone lookups plus 3,600 exports. Ultimate is $1,379 per year, displayed as $115 per month, with email and phone lookups plus 20,000 exports.
RocketReach calls the annual lookups unlimited, but its own FAQ places them under a fair-use policy with a 10,000-lookups-per-month ceiling. Annual unused capacity does not roll into another contract year. That makes old comparisons based only on RocketReach's former fixed annual credit bundles unreliable.
A lookup is not the same as an export
RocketReach defines a lookup as revealing contact data and storing it inside its platform. An export moves the record into a CSV or another system. Bulk lookups, list uploads, API lookups, CRM exports and ordinary CSV downloads consume the export allowance. A team expecting to research thousands of people and send every record elsewhere should model exports first. The lookup headline alone does not describe that cost.
Prospeo's unit is tied more directly to the returned data. A verified email costs one credit. A verified mobile costs ten credits and includes the email; if the email was already revealed, the mobile costs nine more. Company enrichment costs one credit, and a Search API page containing up to 25 results costs one. A request with no result costs nothing, and re-enriching the same record inside 90 days is free.
Pick Prospeo
Operate a focused data layer
You already have outreach tools and need people search, company data, mobile numbers, intent, job changes or API-led enrichment with predictable result costs.
Pick RocketReach
Research inside one workspace
Your sellers want contact and company search, lists, technographics, browser access and a large annual lookup allowance before deciding what to export.
The feature sets extend beyond contact details
RocketReach includes contact and company search, verification, lists, CSV enrichment, a browser extension, API access, simple sequences and an AI writer. Pro adds technographics, news, organisation charts and integrations with products including Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft and Bullhorn. Ultimate adds intent data, healthcare data and Salesforce custom mapping. RocketReach says its database covers more than 700 million professionals; that is a vendor-published coverage figure, not an independently tested result.
Prospeo combines its database with advanced filters, intent topics, CSV enrichment and APIs. Growth adds CRM integrations, duplicate control and job-change tooling, while Pro raises API throughput. Its annual allocation arrives upfront and does not roll into the next renewal. Paid seats contribute credits to a shared team pool.
Choose with an export-volume test
Build a sample from the regions, roles and company sizes you actually target. Record email and phone coverage, verification states, how duplicates are handled and how many records must leave the vendor's workspace. A vendor's global coverage claim cannot predict performance on a narrow market.
If the team explores many profiles but exports only a qualified subset, RocketReach's annual model can make sense. If every automated search or enrichment must flow immediately into Clay, a CRM or a sender, Prospeo's event-level credit model is easier to forecast. The right denominator is usable records delivered to the next step.
