What this list audit checks
The auditor maps common header variations, normalizes website and email domains, and then deduplicates contacts. Email is the strongest available contact key. When email is absent, name, domain and company form a fallback identity. Account coverage is calculated after contact duplicates are removed, so repeated rows do not make an account look better covered than it is.
Completeness shows the share of source rows with a usable name, title, company, email and domain. A domain inferred from an email address counts as available for this audit. It does not overwrite your file. For a durable workflow, keep stable company identifiers and document how parent companies, subsidiaries and sites should be treated. Our guide to TAM mapping for outbound explains why that identity decision matters.
Coverage is more than row count
A large list can still have weak account coverage. One contact per company creates a brittle motion when roles change or the first person is not involved in the problem. Use the account totals here as a starting point, then define the buying roles needed for the offer. Account tiering should guide how much research and contact depth each account earns.
What the audit does not validate
The tool does not send email, test a mailbox, judge ICP fit or certify data accuracy. It cannot tell whether a title is current or whether two domains belong to the same corporate group. Those decisions need qualification rules, provenance and human review. If data coverage is the constraint, our guide to waterfall enrichment covers a more controlled way to fill gaps; Prospeo vs Wiza and Prospeo vs Apollo compare two common sourcing models.
