Our short answer: Mailpool is the broader infrastructure marketplace and can start at one $3 managed mailbox. Infraforge is the more focused private-infrastructure product, starting with at least ten $4 mailbox slots billed quarterly. Compare the dedicated Mailpool offer to Infraforge; comparing Infraforge with Mailpool's basic shared inbox is not like for like.

Do not add Infraforge's $99 additional-IP charge to its entry price as if it were mandatory. Its public copy says the base includes private infrastructure. Mailpool's $200 dedicated price may not be all-in because email volume is also billed.

Mailpool covers several infrastructure categories

Mailpool's own managed inboxes cost $3 monthly, Google Workspace $4 and Microsoft 365 $5. Annual equivalents are $2.60, $3.40 and $4.30. A dedicated IP/server is $200 monthly or $170 annual-equivalent. Custom dedicated infrastructure with several IPs, white labelling, expanded API and a dedicated manager requires a quote.

This breadth lets a team manage different provider profiles in one product. There is no free trial, but the managed option has no published bulk minimum or setup fee. Mailpool says buyers can start with one mailbox.

Infraforge starts from private infrastructure

Infraforge mailbox slots cost $4 per month and are billed quarterly. Annual billing provides two months free, an effective $3.33 per month. The minimum is ten slots, so the smallest mailbox commitment is $40 monthly on quarterly billing. A public 25-slot example is $100 monthly quarterly or $83 annual-equivalent.

The base product is described as a private server and IP environment. Additional IPs cost $99 per month, billed quarterly. SSL and domain masking cost $2 per domain monthly on quarterly billing or $6 yearly. Masterbox adds $9 per workspace monthly quarterly or $7 annual-equivalent.

Pick Mailpool

Keep infrastructure options open

You want shared, Google, Microsoft and dedicated choices in one control plane, or need to start below ten inboxes.

Pick Infraforge

Commit to private infrastructure

You want your own server/IP model, the ten-slot minimum fits and the Forge ecosystem matches your operating stack.

Pre-warmed inventory and capacity need separate math

Infraforge lists pre-warmed domains at $14 each with a four-domain minimum and two mailboxes per domain. The mailboxes still consume normal $4 slots and the overall ten-slot minimum remains. There is no extra pre-warming fee according to its help center.

Mailpool documents recommended daily volumes by inbox type and a maximum of 100,000 emails per month on a dedicated IP. Those are vendor operating recommendations, not deliverability guarantees. Ask both vendors how replacement, warm-up state and scaling events are handled.

Neither product sends the campaigns

Both provision infrastructure and automate DNS. A separate sequencer still handles campaigns and replies. Mailpool connects or exports to tools such as Instantly and Smartlead. Infraforge says it works with any sending software, while Salesforge is a separate subscription.

The total model should include mailboxes, domains, extra IPs, masking, the sequencer, monitoring and operator time. Dedicated infrastructure also needs enough clean volume to justify the added cost and responsibility.
